Please join the Houston Chapter of the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) on Thursday, February 12 for our monthly meeting.

George Lippman will speak on US Gas Supply Forecast Response to Declining Drilling Activity

LOCATION: The meeting will take place at the Federal Reserve Bank located at 1801 Allen Parkway in Houston, TX. ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

GEORGE LIPPMAN is the president and founder of Lippman Consulting, Inc.  Mr. Lippman established Lippman Consulting, Inc. in July of 1996. He has over fourty years of experience in the energy field. Over the past 12 years, Lippman Consulting has become the country’s largest consulting firm specializing in gas supply statistics. In his previous position as Manager, Market and Supply Analysis, George was responsible for the gas supply and price forecasts for all sources of gas supplies connected to El Paso Natural Gas Company's pipeline system. He was the company's expert on gas supply issues and has testified numerous times on various gas supply matters at both the state and national levels. George is nationally recognized as a gas supply expert and has made numerous supply presentations in various venues. George has participated in many national and international committees dealing with gas supply and demand issues throughout North America. He has served as Chairman, Rocky Mountain section of the American Gas Associations Committee on Natural Gas Reserves. He has worked with the Gas Research Institute (GRI) and Canadian Energy Research Institute (CERI). He has extensive knowledge of all interstate pipelines and has worked with various national gas flow models.
